How does “Walked it back”, mean anything? A statement made initially is what he is thinking. “Walked it back” is like thoughts and prayers. It is meaningless and empty. Actually, it means the first statement was a lie.

Because Trump is highly predictable and those who know him well, folks who have studied his behavior over the years agree that he is telegraphing his intent. He may not succeed, but there is a very high likihood that he will try.
