Looks like Rudy is gonna 9/11 45ā¦
This is becoming uncomfortable. Heās not actually lying, because heās not consciously saying something false. Rudy Giuliani is not well. Get him off TV.
āLook, lawyers argue in the alternative. I know itās complicated, but my goodness, weāve been over it long enough that ā I mean, why would I say something that isnāt true.ā
LOL. Because it comes as naturally to you as breathing, perhaps?
"Well, heās tellinā us this and heās tellinā us that,
changes it every dayā¦sez it doesnāt matterā¦
ā¦Time to change the batter." - Joe Walsh
Not only do we have alternative facts, but now we have alternative arguments, argued by alternative lawyers? How soon do we get to alternative presidents?
Alas, the ānot wellā crowd is exactly who Ghoulianiās playing to.
Thatās the core challenge, even for such a practiced and prolific liar as Giuliani: you forget which lies you told and which you can deny.
So we are past double talk, quadruple or quintiple maybe? The baffle them with bullshit defense isnāt working Ghouli.
āHow soon do we get to alternative presidents?ā
Arenāt we already there??
Heās playing to an audience of one: the Fat Orange Gasbag in the WH residence who just wants Rudes to go on TV and hear the things Donald wants to hear on TV.
Sure, heās playing to āthe F O Gā, but we canāt ignore the SScammity/LIngraham crowd for whom all this double-talk is a comfortably warm blanket of bullshit.
Rudy ā¦
You need to listen to the master ā¦
" I mean why would I say something that wasnāt true"ā¦Because you are a FUCKING LIAR!
Can you spot Ghouliani in this graphic?
I knew you could.
This sorta explains why Rudes said ā911!ā a bazillion times after the 2001 attacks. He couldnāt be called a liar at least.
This is a planned response by Rudy as directed by Trump. Heās using the same tactic Trump used on the āwould/would notā thing as to whether he believed Russia was behind the DNC hack and other acts of election interference.
Trump and Rudy are pursuing that long established legal theory called āwinging itā. Trump isnāt that smart but he thinks he is. Heās playing in an area of criminal law that is very complex and there simply isnāt any way for Trump to cover all of his tracks. Every time he or Rudy speaks, theyāre just winging it to see what argument can gain traction. Theyāre floating arguments to see if the GOP will pick them up and run with it to defend Trump and find a wedge to intimidate prosecutors into backing off or finding ways to shut down the investigation. But every time Rudy or Trump opens his mouth, it creates more trouble. An old professor of mine used to say that you can tell how good a carpenter is by how he covers his mistakes. These 2 clowns are shitty carpenters.
The thing is though Trump is still in the office of the POTUS, and while heās there, he remains a threat to the rule of law. Our legal system has to bring charges against his crew (and him) to make them all pay for the continued treason, lying and obstruction. We caught a glimpse of how powerful an act of legal accountability can be with the Collins indictment. He quit his race and now a Democrat is the likely candidate to win a R+11 seat. That seat was not on the Demsā radar (though it was on mine as a potential reach district to invest in).
I can see that Mueller is looking to nail Roger Stone. Iād like to see an indictment there come soon with additional charges added post-indictment. That would really get the ball rolling. We need to start indicting the American co-conspirators who aided the Russians intel operation against the United States.
Leave it to a Coyote to have the perfect sheepish grin.
Donāt disagreeābut I also think the SScammity/LIngraham crowd donāt mostly watch any other network: even CNN / MSNBC-level discourse is too complicated and nuanced for them.
In other news from the prima facie BS department: Kellyanne Conway: āNone of us would be thereā if Trump were racist
