Count me among the people who hove no real problem with this guy as head of the NEC. To be president of GS you need to very smart and capable. I don’t they employ incompetent or crazy people at this level. So yeah, he probably favors policy positions that I disagree with, but he is not a major loon. This could have been so much worse considering how many econ quacks there are out there (stephen Moore anyone?).
It’s like having Mattis as Sec Def. I in no way think a former general, especially not one recently retired should be SecDef. I don;t really think it is a great idea to increase belligerency toward Iran. But Mattis is a grown-up and likely our only chance to prevent Flynn and Trump from getting us nuked.
