Ranking Member Mark Warner (D-VA) told the network: “The criminal piece of the investigation will be handled by the special counsel, but if we find facts we can turn this over to the special counsel.”
No need for the Senate to act as long as Mueller is on the job.
No need. Let the big boys handle this one.
Big boys who can go before a grand jury and get indictments.
In other words, Mueller is doing a criminal investigation into obstruction and the Senate committee need not bother.
If Trump were to foolishly fire Mueller et al. the Senate should immediately hire him as a special prosecutor covering both obstruction and collusion.
I didn’t realize the OOJ charge was part of the Intel committee’s bailiwick anyway, so I was more surprised that it was on their radar than that they won’t be investigating it.
I thought I read somewhere that GOP Senators coming out of closed doors meetings with Comey and/or Mueller were white as ghosts.
I mean even whiter than normal.
Everyone wants the scythe in proper hands.
Indeed
I heard Donnie crashed and burned at the U.S Open in Wisconsin today. Or was that a different blimp?
To quote Letterman
“Don’t try this at home folks, leave it to the professionals”
Best part it will stop the Republicans from fucking with it and we won’t have to listen to any partisan bullshit and questions about “Was BENGHAZI! and the emails obstruction of justice?”
Trump is in deep kimchi. Senate republicans are increasingly reluctant to run interference for him… and then
derp drip
Keeps those loose lips buttoned up too.
But what about all the leaks? and emails? and Benghazi?
Not doubting you read it, but any good links to read up on it?
No, I was hoping someone could help me re-trace my steps. Information overload, too few brain cells…
