This is ridiculous. Durbin should slap Trump across the face with his leather gloves and challenge him to a duel because Trump has besmirched his honor. AND, I have more confidence in Durbinâs aim.
I am sick of this. The problem is NOT that the President thinks a country is a shithole. I donât care if he used that word. It might be bad diplomacy, but it is not what makes Trump a racist. What makes him a racist is that, in response to the diagnosis of shittyness, he wants to punish the people. What makes him racist is not that he thinks an African country has problems. Itâs that he thinks the problems are the people, and uses that as an excuse to advocate an evil policy.
I donât care what the president fucking said. What he advocates is evil. He advocates a position that discriminates against people because of where they happened to be born, and that is evil.
