Stating the obvious, this will get worse, not better. If you engender a cultural problem, you will never run out of examples of that problem.
For this man, it was easy to think in 2016ish that all left-leaning folks good and pure and decent and (as the kids say) “woke”, and all right-leaning folks bad and sexist. Just as we’ve learned since Trump’s election that there are some decent folks who used to find themselves in the red tent, we’ve* learned we have a few problems in our own ranks.

Hey, he’s an American politician. With exceptions, these types of accusations confirm the notion that politics is a boys club. It is refreshing to see what’s happening now in our politics. The Blue Wave now has a tinge of pink. We are fortunate to have so many brilliant females engaging in the national and local races. We can only come out better as a country because of this.

Bro culture was clear among the 20-somethings. Young women who supported Hillary felt pressure to shut up if they wanted to get a date.
Drumpf and Sanders remind me both of men who were legends in their own mind.

Perhaps there’s another way to look at this. That’s by examining the political consult class. Politics is a career for them, and not necessarily a calling. Remember the TV networks pay the consultants huge commissions for placing ads. The way this class operates seems to be part of the problem, and may well attract bad actors to its ranks.
Then they need to find a different set of male peers, because those guys are not worth their time.
This is a shot across the bow Bernie. Keep making noise about running again and things will get a lot worse.
It is very difficult for young people to opt out of their local society. Would be better if men could guide young men in a less bro-ish direction.
I guess it depends where you live. Still why would you spend time with the likes of some who act like bullies and misogynists?
