Discussion: After 2016 Disaster, States And Feds More In Step On Election Security

Of course they reached out to Inyo County, California … it went for tRump in 2016, but I didn’t see that mentioned here. How many people have they sent to GA?

These election-security stories are all the same. Lots of posturing about how our protections are improved, but then you keep reading and learning that actually the results could be tracelessly altered and our democracy hinges on the improbable forebearance of our enemies. It’s never mentioned that the Republican Party is in a de facto electoral alliance with Russia. It’s never mentioned that the GOP has at best a formal attachment to democracy and is historically hostile to electoral integrity. It’s like writing a report about whether the zoo is safe but failing to mention that the zookeepers are animal liberation fans who will keep their jobs only if the lions escape.
