Discussion: Afraid Of 'Repercussions,' HUD Delayed Action On Crumbling Public Housing

Could someone wake up Dr Carson for a comment on this?

The statement might be more coherent if you skip the “waking up” part.

What is the matter with these employees? My 15 year old granddaughter could run it better than they did. How could anyone allow this to happen? Why would anyone think it is okay to treat people this way? This country is run by inncompetent and mean-spirited people.

$10 Faux News et al. try to leverage this shit into their “Democrat plantation” narrative and something along the lines of “See??? This is all Obama’s fault and even your precious Democrat President Darky fucked over his peeps!!! You should be voting for the GOP!!!”

“Cheeseburger, fries and a typewriter. Nobody can’t say nothing but forget the juice bar. I left it with my wife to handle it. Timmy wouldn’t hold the nodes.”

Hmm. Better conditions at more integrated housing projects. $400K siphoned off into overhead.

And of course the R response isn’t oversight, it’s to take away any money that could be used to fix things. (I’m betting you will also find in the congressperson’s files a long history of unadressed complaints.)

/snort/ Er…what? /snore/ Eh? You woke for that that?

The problem with public housing is public housing, at least as constituted in the US. The solutions lie elsewhere. I’d like to see some really radical (to the root) progressive solutions.
