I’ve heard such crap before in regard to Bin Laden and it was all untrue so why believe anything the pakistanis say? Were he actually a goner they would be able to offer definitive proof…like DNA or an HD video of him. I think the ISI was protecting him since 2001 as they were bin Laden. And the ISI still protects the Taliban and assorted other unsavory outfits… I visited Afghanistan and the border region with Pakistan in 1970 well before the current troubles and even then it was not the most trustworthy of places.

And the Taliban would have said if Omar were a stiff.
