Discussion: ADL Forms Task Force On Torrent Of Anti-Semitic Hate Speech Against Journalists

The ADL, founded shortly after the turn of the century to stop defamation of Jewish people…

Which century? This idiom has evolved to need clarification.

A major undertaking. I just switched my amazon smile charity to ADL

I guess if the end of life as we know it is nigh a bunch of Jews looking into it makes sense.

“Trump remains the only national party candidate to have earned the support of numerous white supremacist and hate groups.”

Little known fact:

Donald Trump can beer-belch the lyrics to all four verses of “The Horst Wessel Song”.

And without taking a breath.

I dropped my Google also, and broke it. The shop is supposed to have it back next week. Meanwhile, Josh has ordered the latest edition of “Monkeys on a Typewriter” for his latest round of copy editor training.*

Correction: “Monkeys® on a Typewriter”*

**Correction correction: “Monkeys(D) on a Typewriter”

Isn’t this a rather extraordinary amount of effort just to protect Bill Kristol’s reputation?

Um … those weren’t belches.

It all just begs the question: Who the fuck did the “media” THINK they were mollycoddling all this time?

I can’t deny there’s a part of me that is having to work really really hard not to espouse a “just desserts” attitude towards this.

Kristol’s “reputation” consists of being wrong about everything for the last 30 years, and proud of it.

Plus, “Proud to be an American,” the Republican Horst Wessel Leid. ( a/k/a “the Chickenhawk Song.”)

Yeah, and tie a yellow ribbon 'round their throats and hang 'em with it from the nearest ceiling fan.

“And I’m Proud to be an “American” (for Trump) where at least I know I’m Free.
To call my co-workers “Ni(CLANG!)s” and tell the faggy ones where to pee.
and I’d gladly stand up (with the help of my Viagra) and defend her from my couch
'Cause there ain’t no doubt I’m dumb as a rock
God Bless the N.R.A!”

I think first there should be a definition of “journalist” vs a paid hack who works for big corporations who only see profits as the need for the reporting. The difference is as important as seeing a doctor vs a snake oil seller on the corner.

Classy. Very, very classy.

Republicans are even using Anti-Semitic threats against their own primary candidates. In MO the state GOP chairman backing one candidate started a whisper campaign against another inferring that Tom Schweich was Jewish to GOP donors. He wasn’t and committed suicide. Former Republican Senator John Danforth at Schweich’s funeral said he was ashamed of the bullying and Anti-Semitism within his party.

There is nothing these Republican bigots like Trump won’t do to get their way.

“Is this all about Donald Trump? Absolutely not"

Really? Who else’s supporters are making anti-Semitic comments. Bernie? Hillary? I think not. Hate speech is a trademark of Trump. His supporters love him for it. You know, telling it ‘like it is’.

So, do the same. Its ALL on Trump.

Is the ADL only looking at domestic trolls or bots connected to Trump or the gun lobby?

Per Eric Schmidt of Google/ Alphabet, “In Russia, farms of online trolls systematically harass democratic voices and spread false information on the Internet and on social media.”

Schmidt is likely being diplomatic. He plays host to thousands of troll farm lowlife videos most likely out of Russia on YT with fake psychosis in the YT comments.

Ever check out the Daily Caller comments on gun issues?
Would right wing Israeli hasbara brigades ever engage in anti-Semitic threats? Nah, perish the thought.

That could be his candidate, David French’s motto. “Wrong, and proud of it”

Actually they were founded after the 1915 lynching of Leo Frank in Marietta, GA.
