The Republican Party of the 21st century has betrayed every single precept of democracy in the name of naked lust for power and the ability to loot this once great nation. Every single enabler of the GOP since Ronald Reagan should have to answer for charges of treason.
Sometimes he seems to be in a kind of trough for a while, like between surges of manic tweeting. Some future historian will chart the fresh-outrage cycle but I still think he’s been relatively quiet for a few days at a time. Not to the point you can enjoy it, knowing he’s going to start up again at any time and wondering what fuckery he’s up to behind closed doors, but still. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
