One person was reportedly killed and five others wounded in a shooting spree Wednesday in Mesa, Arizona.
I’m almost certain that God, Jesus and “constitutional rights” will somehow work themselves into the local coverage before the day is over.

This kind of tragedy happens much more frequently in the United States than anywhere else.
But as we all know, it has nothing to do with lax gun ownership rules or a gun culture that sees firearms as a solution to perceived injustices. Just ask the NRA. They are completely unbiased.

Perish the thought! This has nothing to do with guns. It might have been video games, or some music that he heard one time. I’m sure Fox will tell us soon enough what caused it.

This is just more proof that having everyone carrying guns does nothing to protect people. At least 1 in 3 folks in Mesa have CCW licenses. Where were these heros?
Reminds me of Chris Kyle and his friend. Both of them were armed, along with EVERYONE else at the shooting range. Yet they’re still dead.

Spent the weekend in the Phoenix area. I saw 3 folks wandering about with handguns strapped to their sides. Open Carry was a bit startling to those of us from more civilized regions. The open carriers were all white men in their forties with tattoos. I report, you decide.

I have family in Phoenix. The first time I went to visit, I rented a car. My rels. told me, in the event that I got pulled over for anything, be sure to place both hands on the steering wheel because due to the open carry law, the cops approach vehicles with their guns drawn.
