Still I think the essential point is that he wants (actually Miller wants) to rewrite the immigration laws by fiat, and violate any existing law he has to in the process. If itās done cruelly so much the better from Trumpās point of view. Thatās ātoughness,ā to him.

Iāve spent the last 50 years on or near the Mexican border (trumpās term that everyone uses not iis āthe southern borderā). I have never carried a weapon in self defense. Admittedly this is Arizona and not Texas. But stillā¦trump is just delusional.

The reality along the border from most accounts is non-fear. Border folks wonder why middle America thinks there is some illegal invasion occurring along the southern border.

This is a non-story.
Every upper management fellow knows that it is time to find greener pastures once he/she is passed over for an important directorship. They basically have no face-saving options within the organization, and their voice will never again be heard.

Indefinite imprisonment in harsh conditions, with family members separate from each other.
Accompanied by the promise that they can all reunite and get out of it if they just sign up to self-deport and withdraw their asylum claim.
