Nobody has ever said “acting” is easy, no?

Will the new person be the acting, acting Border Chief?

Is he resigning in protest of Trump policies, or resigning because of the backlash over his agency’s child torture?

This cluster will be walking bow-legged for a week, such is the evening it just endured.

“100 children were sent back to a station in Clint, Texas, a severely lacking housing facility where they didn’t have access to showers, clean clothes and suitable meals.”

Justice would be Flynn, Manafort, and the entire Trump mob serving their sentences in this “detention facility”.

How about a Border Collie?

Much more humane and intelligent than anyone Donnie could come up with…

Hey, if you can’t stand the blitzkrieg, then don’t join the Schutzstaffel, Herr Asshole.

The entire administration should resign, starting with the child abuser in chief.

When the number of Trumpers who resign is greater than the number of children they imprisoned, we have to make an imprisoned immigrant child president.

Them’s the rules.

I didn’t know the children were sent back to Clint. OMG. That and the immigration people refusing diapers and other donations?!!

Pure evil. Lock them all up.

A fish rots from the head, but the entire organization wasn’t hired in January of 2017. They didn’t flip a switch and turn evil and heartless that day. Cleaning up and clearing out CBP or whatever agency might replace it will be the work of a generation, if we’re lucky.

Not surprising but still horrifying . . . MSNBC is reporting that at least some of the kids moved out of that Texas facility were taken to a PRIVATE facility (John Kelly is affiliated with this particular one) in Florida. Because it’s private, no government officials are allowed in to inspect (i.e. Swalwell was turned away) and because it’s a for-profit enterprise, there’s no hurry in reuniting any of the kids with family members. I remember when some younger voters said that Trump couldn’t do that much damage in a few years. Well, they were wrong and we are forever changed as a country and a society if we don’t stop this NOW.

Janitors in DHS are starting to get worried that they’ll be tapped as an Acting Chief and be summarily fired before this is all over…

He begged me for the acting position, like a dog! I said no! America stays tough and strong.

So rather than fix the situation, it’s just easier to walk away. The problem won’t be resolved, but I guess he’ll be able to sleep better at night knowing he’s not responsible for it anymore.

Another fine person, of course.

@manhattan123, let’s assume, safely, that it’s option 2.
