Discussion: ABC Reaches Settlement With Barr, Plans ‘Roseanne’ Spin-Off Without Her

Here’s how to help: vote for Hillary Clinton.

Speaking of people who popular society rightfully would not miss…

Or claim that like the Parkland kids, that they’re paid actors.

Depends on how you read the text:

Barr reached a settlement with ABC, which will exempt the network from having to pay Barr for the new spin-off.

I saw that this morning. That charmer Brian Kilmeade! I’m surprised PBS hasn’t hired him to replace Mister Rogers.
Great excuse if someone hits one of his kids with their SUV: “Hey, it’s not MY kid! Besides, I ran the kid over in New York. It’s not like the little bastard was from Texas or Idaho - you know, the REAL America!”

I wish she had been stuck in the drivers seat in that car over the cliff scene.

I read the comments on Twitter. Is she actually able to leave her house? But then, what in the fuck did she expect?

Funny how relevant John Prine’s lyrics are to this day.

The whole Flag Pin BS a few years back may as well been over Flag Decals.

They just paid her now.

I highly doubt that. She’s continued to make racist, offensive comments.

Watch ABC have Roseanne’s character get murdered by a MS-13 immigrant gang-banger.

I would not put it past them as payback to the Trump administration for allowing the Disney-21st Century Fox purchase to go through. (Disney owns ABC.)

“In Russia, the shark jump YOU!”

Maybe they can pretend the last season was all a novel Dan was writing to cope with Roseanne’s death…

Excellent.

Fortunately, I am anticipating having better things to do, whenever they’ll be airing it.

And…Roseanne spins this as a “win” in…3…2…1…

I’m definitely going to watch and support it. There’d be no better message sent than for the ratings to be much higher without her. It would tell TV execs and advertisers (who’ve mostly already figured this out) that there’s a much stronger market for diversity and inclusiveness than racist PP voters.

Starting with a shower scene, we realize that Roseanne never happened - the last year was all a dream

ABC could have just burned all this money in a bonfire and gotten a better ROI.

Good.

The ‘sudden turn of events’ was her character ran off with a white supremacist.

Susie Snowflake is getting the meltdown she deserves.
