Discussion: ABC: Pruitt's Security Broke Down Door In Panic To Find Him Napping Inside

They should have left him alone. The ONLY time Scott Pruitt is effective at his job (protecting the environment) is while he’s asleep.

Pruitt taking a nap is just the cover story. They actually caught him red handed with stockings on and a belt around the door handle.

Welp that just proves that napping on the job is dangerous to the health and well being of your security detail. Pruitt shoulda been more accommodating and told them he was gonna take a nap. But no, being the seriously important Head of the EPA (which out ranks even the President of these United States don’cha know)…hell no he won’t tell Shit to Shinola much less his security detail.

And why does the head of the EPA need security? Is he that paranoid?

Pruitt should use his Cone of Silence for his naps.

a bizarre story on Friday about his security detail breaking down the door of the townhouse, convinced that Pruitt was unconscious inside. Instead, they found a discombobulated and disgruntled Pruitt waking up from a nap.

If he paid fair market rent, then it’s not really a problem…BUT, that’s the question that needs to be asked and answered (with documentation).

The EPA reimbursed Vicki Hart, part-owner, healthcare
lobbyist and wife of energy lobbyist Steven Hart, for the
damage to the door, ABC reported.

This SOB even costs taxpayers money while he fuckin’ sleeps! ----

Why did the EPA reimburse the lobbyists? What official freakin’ duty was Pruitt doing at the time his goons freaked out?

MAGA! But first, nap time…

From another poster on another site–autoerotic asphyxiation?

Your explanation makes more sense to me than “napping.” Some kind of kinky or illegal behavior would also help explain why Pruitt has felt a need to have a sound-proof booth and extra security doors in his workplace.

Sleeping on the job has to be a fireable offense in Donnie’s book.

He did not pay fair market rent. He paid about $1000/month for an apartment that locally rents for $5000/month, with what sounds like a month to month clause (!). And the landlords, both energy lobbyists, work with clients who have EPA concerns, according to ABC, and Pruitt mysteriously flies 1st class to Morocco with security and an aide also in 1st class, to push US gas sales, clearly a Dept of Energy concern (!?!).

I read the ABC articles to see how much the taxpayers paid to fix the damn door (i.e., repair the broken glass), but it looks like the lobbyists got a f’n brand new door:
“neither would say how much the damage to the door cost to repair. The EPA has since reimbursed Pruitt’s former landlord, Vicki Hart, for the cost of the door.”

Long past time to get rid of this asshat.

I hope Zinke’s staff makes duplicates of his keys because, if they knock down his doors, we’re out another $140,000.

He paid $50 a night.
Way the hell under market rate.
