OK, everyone just slow down, take a deep breath. It’s only December. Donald Trump and his followers have NOT YET said or done the craziest, most asinine, bigoted, xenophobically horrible thing they’re going to do or say before all this is said and done. We’ve got a loooong way to go before we hit Peak Crazy next summer, and I’m afraid some of you are going to burn out. Pace yourselves. It’s only going to get worse.

Absolutely agree with that.Sarah Palin thought she understood that maxim but she really didn’t because she didn’t understand her own limits, her environment, who she appealed to, etc. Rump has spent much of his life in a public spotlight voluntarily, eagerly, so he can manipulate what he sees fit with much more deftness.

Trump is quite intelligent. He is also a narcissist who has been in the Casino business all his life so he is used to a Media Frenzy and knows just what buttons to push for maximum publicity.

Look, Trump just needs to stay in the race until the party chooses the candidate -leaving Trump open to mount an independent bid -siphoning loads of votes from whatever Republican dipstick the party gives the nod to.

Show me the evidence that Trump is “quite intelligent”. So far it only Trump who attests to that. As I see it he is quite stupid, and there is a raft of evidence to demonstrate that.
