In real life, unqualified liars and cheaters hang on to their unearned privilege and vow not to withdraw.
If I were the scriptwriter, the music would be swelling - lots of violins with an underscore of strong cello as the inquisitors each look into their dark souls, drop their heads - Close ups of each of their faces - flashes of memory quick cuts - a little boy and a dog romping in the back yard - a little boy running into the waves at the beach - a little boy getting a pat on the head from his father -
then each man rising and saying “This candidate is unfit for the office. Hearing adjourned.”
I wouldn’t trust Kavanaugh to umpire a little league game.
