Can any of these Trump GOP senators be trusted to do the right thing? I’m sceptical.
I don’t trust these corrupt GOP scum as far as I can spit. All they care about are lowering taxes for themselves and their rich owners.
Why do you think these GOP jerks care about anything other than cutting taxes for the rich? Moreover, many Republicans talk a good game, but always put party loyalty over the country.
I don’t want to defend Manchin much, but remember, the choices in WV are a GOP senator, or a pretty reddish purple (at best) Blue Dog democrat. They may vote similarly most of the time, but one counts towards a GOP majority and the other a Dem majority. I’ll gladly take the latter.

I think a lot of them do mind that they won’t have health insurance, esp. those in WV, KY, and a few other states that has a high rate of Medicaid expansion enrollees, but they still really do support Trump and the other GOPers. A couple in KY voted for Trump even though the husband is on KY’s Kinect (sp?), which has made insurance available to them because of the cost (subsidies), bans on preexisting conditions, etc. The husband needs a lifesaving liver transplant. When questioned, the wife was like, ‘gee, I thought Trump wouldn’t take our insurance away even though he campaigned on it.’ Can’t fix thinking like that. I have no doubt that this couple wouldn’t hesitate to vote Trump again, knowing that the husband would probably have his healthcare stripped and would have to rely on charity care (if fortunate enough to get it).
