Discussion: 5 Points On Trump’s Latest False Claims About Voter Fraud In Texas

There is another option for citizenship; Melania’s parents seem to have been naturalized well before the 5-year limit. I’ll place a bet that they were beneficiaries of a “private bill” in Congress, much like Rupert Murdoch. Why wait when you can simply buy citizenship?

Sorry I know my wife falls into the same category friend, but I also know we are still living off our George Soros election fraud money and welfare and I can prove it next month when the gold coins with Hillary and Obama’s face upon them arrive.

Let’s not forget the “weak match” part. If you have the information to do stronger matches (e.g. DOB, address etc) the only reason not to report them is that you don’t like the results.

Interesting, the vast majority of elective offices in Texas ar filled with Republicans. Is it possible that all the thousands of alleged fraudulent voters in Texas are voting for Republicans?

1st as a caveat, I have lived in texas many decades.

How does poor enforcement, poor record keeping make the excuse that we need tougher laws. I am sure people from all political stripes can agree, that whoever has been running this ship, if the said voter registration and possible voter fraud took places, that the laws on the books say clearly that non-citizens can not participate in voting in federal and state elections. So how would tougher enforcement solve that problem.

Also, Texas as well as many states in the south, are looked as places where “voter ID” is working, well our felon Attorney General, just pointed out that it isn’t. In addition, most of the time covered in this data set takes place as the modern GOP, especially the influential pols from Texas, have put there stamp on Texas.

As an aside, I do not know one Dem pol that has asked for loosening restrictions or changing who is eligible to vote, which is a common straw man argument made by the GOP. The Dems simply want access and have fought and won it in court in places like Prairie View A&M, and more convenient hours for voting.

Just my observation!

That is the kicker in all of this. They have to have been voting for the GOP - so what are they bitching about? Trump carried Texas, what is he bitching about?

It’s all projection and I’m trying to figure out if they projecting that many fraudulent GOP votes in Texas because that would not surprise me one bit. We vote on old evoting machines all over the state.

1.5 million immigrants became citizens in Texas from 1996 to 2016.

These 58,000 “illegal” voters are most likely citizens by now.

The hypocrisy abounds, especially with that naturalized citizen of Australian origin whose network pollutes our discourse with anti-immigrant vitriol.

The perfect phrase describing the Republican party.

Texas has abysmal rates of voter participation. And Ken Paxton et al. are trying to make it even lower. Disgusting.

And to the extent that there is actual, measurable fraud, it’s much more likely to be via absentee ballots, which a) is unaffected by voter ID laws, and b) are, until recently at least, more commonly used by Republican voters. Which may explain the right’s focus on voter ID over more effective means of addressing what’s still a very minor issue…

I still think the instance of voter fraud is near zero. Mistakes have been made but I think they were made somewhere between the DPS and the voting rolls.

Yup, very low either way. But there are slightly more documented instances of absentee-ballot fraud – though those are generally more accurately described as election fraud, where the voter’s as much a victim as the system (NC’s still-contested Congressional election’s just an especially ballsy example). And for me, the best use of this fact is to expose the right’s true motive in pushing voter ID as the supposed cure for fraud to people who actually think they’re not just out to suppress the votes of Dem-leaning constituencies.

How fucking hideously stupid must one be, at long last, to take anything that a rightwinger says as anything but a goddamn fucking lie?

They lie, about everything, all the time. They lie even when the truth would better serve them.

Speaking of stupid fucks, 99.99999% of non-citizens are not stupid fuck enough to commit a felony and risk deportation by casting a fundamentally worthless illegal vote. You’d have to be Trump supporter stupid to do that shit.

You know, like this dumb Cult45 bitch.
