Now start questioning the authority of OLC memo. Itâs ridiculous to put so much weight on it.
Just 400? Is that all?
Not exactly a vote of confidence in Barrâs actions. In fact, zero support for what heâs doing.
heh heh
Rudy Giuliani disagrees, so both sides need to be considered.
Impeachment?
ânot worth itâ
âtoo divisiveâ
ânot bipartisanâ
âtoo good for himâ
âeasy way outâ
Probably Trump fired them all and theyâre disgruntled.
So farâŚ
And what is it going to take for the DOJ, or the courts to overrule and throw out the absolutely stupid Office of Legal Council OPINION/POLICY that says a sitting President cannot be indicted.
The ongoing lawlessness of our current so-called âpresidentâ must not be allowed to continue. It will destroy our government and our country.
No prosecutors from Russia signed this letter. So, you know, what does it matter?
The sad part is, there are more people willing to take the word of the President over 400 others with personal knowledge of the situation because those 400 people, according to the minions, are part of the âDeep Stateâ trying to destroy âtheirâ President.
Whereâd they get that idea, I wonderâŚ???
Also, theyâre all democrats (except the ones who are republicans).
SHSâs Law School will graduate 3,465 lawyers this monthâŚand I figure they will balance this obviously biased article
Amusing to note that, according to the Post, one of those signing this is> Jeffrey Harris, who worked as the principal assistant to Rudolph W. Giuliani when he was at the Justice Department in the Reagan administration.
Angry Democrats! Conflicted! Bad.
Maybe Barr should contact those two women who engineered the letter of support for Kavenaugh.
Fake prosecutors, obviously, folks. Nothing to see here.
âTheyâre all disgruntled because they didnât get Don McGahnâs job when he left.â
This is a very big deal. In a fight against a lawless administration, every little thing matters. This matters.
It provides a nice talking point for Dems as they go through the public hearing process.
In addition, this provides a lot of cover for Robert Mueller when he will be asked the question as to whether he wouldâve recommended an indictment had the OLC memo not been in effect. I think his report is pretty clear that the POTUSâ actions satisfied the elements of obstruction and that it would be within the power of Congress and prosecutors (post term) to impeach/indict.
Here, he can perhaps take a rhetorical step forward to tell people in plain English what his report pretty clearly says in legalese: âYes. I wouldâve sought an indictment from a grand jury but for the OLC memo because Trumpâs conduct satisfied the elements of obstruction of justice.â
