Is anyone surprised? Theyāve been calling Obama a NAZI for years now. As far as the GOP and their supporters are concerned- anyone who will help the poor is going to be a problem and must be destroyed as quickly as possible.
And while there are some problems with Sandersā record on certain things, he definitely is no NAZI. Of course, these antisemitic idiots donāt get that.

What national socialist parties were there in the past, other than those that sprung up in imitation of the German one? If his point is that socialists can be nationalists, sure they can, as proved by the almost universal support for World War I among socialist parties in Europe (as well as conservative and liberal parties). Why, by the way is his publication called the āNationalā Review? Why not the āInternational Reviewā and let them cover all countries equally or STFU.
By the way, I support free trade and donāt agree with protectionism, whether from Sanders or Trump.

And perhaps worst of all, right-wing Jews will sit on their hands with this while the National Review essentially trivializes what the Nazis did. Eric Cantor was famous for doing this for years. And he had the gall to sit as member of the board of the Virginia Holocaust Museum.

Why morons like Kevin D. Williamson are allowed to publish things is vexing. First, socialism and fascism are pretty much polar opposites, so its pretty entertaining when a writer equates them. Note to Kevinā¦you think a Jewish guy like Sanders is a Nazi? Iād say being a propagandist like Kevin is worse than anything Bernie has ever been.

I believe there really scared of his message it ā¦it speaks to a lot of people who see this country as one that values the wealthy and corporate rather than the middle class and working poorā¦it translates well with republicons as well as democrats and independentsā¦all they have is the trump who relies on bigotry ā¦against anyone that isnt from here I read one post who said that illegals border security were the most important thinks to tackle in this countryā¦no there not there are so many thing much more important we need to take care of besides that and Obama has done a lot when it comes to this issue not that you will persuade a republicon of itā¦all I can say is GO BERNIE GO keep speaking out aboput the important things ā¦

Buckley and Gore Vidal are the stars of a documentary called Best of Enemies being released on July 31 about Buckley and Gore Vidal and the debates they had in 1968 on the great issues of the day. In the trailers Iāve seen it devolves into a catfight, hissing and clawing at each other, and erudite all the while. Canāt wait.

Well, not entirely. At their extreme ends, the far left and far right wrap around and start to resemble each other. Hitler was able to take what was originally a (small, underdeveloped) socialist party and make it into a fascist one because a certain part of the ideology is similar - subservience of the individual to the good of the state, and control of industry under the stateās wishes. Itās the means and stated motives for carrying those out that differ, not so much the effects.
