Discussion: 4 Israelis Killed In Jerusalem Synagogue Attack

Discussion for article #230264

And how many Palestinians were slaughtered in the most recent attack on Gaza to protect those … settlers?

There weren’t any news stories about the Mosque attacked two weeks ago with fire bombs. There weren’t any stories about the 15 hit and run attacks by settlers upon Palestinian pedestrians - with no settlers being charged.

We don’t hear that 25 Palestinian Muslims and Christians die for each Israeli Jew.

What do Israelis expect will happen when they hold 5,000,000 people without any civil rights? Thousands -as young as 5 years old- are jailed, many held with no charges and no trial. Torture is prevalent and harassment is omnipresent.

Here is a link to the October UN report on the situation:

“Soon after the attack, clashes broke out outside the Abu Jamals’ home where dozens of police had gathered to carry out arrests in connection with the attack. Residents hurled stones at police who responded using riot dispersal weapons.”

Huh? The attackers were killed by police. Why are police going to arrest other people before there has been time for an investigation?

Did we arrest the families of the Boston Marathon Bombers? Are the parents and siblings of the Pennsylvania Survivalist Sniper in jail? Did we demolish the home of Timothy McVeigh’s folks?

Continuous provocation by Likudniks against occupied people is inevitably going to result in violence. The Likudniks know this, and welcome it with hypocritical expressions of shock and grief, and use it as an excuse for more oppression.

The current Israeli leadership is getting just what it wants and expects–death of innocent Israeli citizens at the hands of ghettoized Palestinians pushed past the breaking point.
