One interesting thing here in Wisconsin is that Scott Walker seems to be positioning himself to run for both Governor, as well as President. He’'s been pretty quite on the healthcare thing, while in other ways he seems to be positioning himself to reap political gains from Trump’s possible fall, or at least distancing himself from Trump without actually opposing him. To that end, he’s been working on looking like a bit of a moderate (at least in comparison to Trump, and the more rabid tea-bagger types) On the other hand, Ron Johnson (our idiot senator) is doubling down on the Trump Love (in the oral sense) and the Trump Healthcare (In the ‘let the uninsured die quickly’ sense). I will be interested to see how all of this stuff shakes out.
I was hoping to find traces of that, but their proposal was more like: Fuck Obamacare; just keep the Medicaid money flowing to us and give us the power to use Medicaid money to enforce behavorial norms.
