Here’s what I can’t figure out about this guy-- why does he keep trying to buy up properties in towns that already exist? If he wants an enclave, why doesn’t he buy some uninhabited rural scrub and build an estate out of old school buses and corrugated tin? Seems like he’d have less trouble getting his project off the ground.
I’d make the argument that the confrontation is what he craves more than the enclave, but I don’t think he’s that smart.

Hidden within the objection by the part Mexican Nebraska gentleman is the significant weakness of the G.O.P. and its minions…
The next few years are the years the G.O.P. will (with the help of FOX but especially with the help of the MSM) portray an America which is predominately white, old, Reactionary, rural, Southern, xenophobic and insular.
The G.O.P. is aided by the fact that the MSM is more and more the province of the Old and the scared. The G.O.P. is aided by the fact that the representative system of government is skewed toward the G.O.P,. (U.S. Senate favours smaller states getting the same # of Senators as large states–the House is G.O.P. Gerrymandered). The G.O.P, is aided by the fact that its voting Base consists of wedge-issue zealots and older, scared Americans. The G.O.P, is aided by the fact that the younger Americans have an extremely casual relation with voting, particularly with Congress, state government and local elections.
HOWEVER…
Even with all of these advantages, including the item that the 0.001% has always sought to use Reactionary (G.O.P.) thinking to their advantage, there is a horizon coming in which the hot-button issues may (just may) be cooled, as the population gets so diverse that ordinary (racist) conversations among Americans may not fly to the degree as in the past…
Hate Mexicans? Well the “white” guy you are taking to may be part Mexican. Or married to one. The same goes for Asians.
Hate Blacks? Well the “white” guy you are talking to may be part Black. Or married to one.
In addition, that white guy may have a non-white best friend. Or close co-worker.
As the out-marriage rate increases, the conundrum increases.
The anemic youthful voting rate opens a window which the G.O.P, is extremely anxious to exploit, hoping to ram through SCOTUS appointments, legislation, etc. to sustain their agenda. Right now, the House Gerrymander is so powerful that Bernie Sanders was reduced to flatly stating to Chris Hayes that his only hope in enacting his legislative proposals was that the VOTING surge that would make possible his election as President would have to spill over to Congress, including OUTVOTING REPUBLICANS IN GERRYMANDERED DISTRICTS ENOUGH TO GAIN A CONGRESSIONAL DEMOCRATIC MAJORITY WHICH WOULD ENABLE BERNIE TO EVEN GET LEGISLATION PASSED.

He wouldn’t even have to go that far, there are plenty of towns here with less than a thousand people that would probably make the process a lot easier. In fact there are quite a few towns with less than a hundred people and even a couple incorporated towns with less than 10 people, hell, my mom’s home county has two incorporated towns with less than five people between them.
I think he just wants the attention and knows he won’t get as much if there aren’t enough people to prompt some push back.

I don’t understand, I thought these types would be flocking to South Carolina to help the people there dealing with floods so they don’t need to rely on the evil federal government and their jackbooted thugs, FEMA.

I have no doubt he’s an interracial porn perv, and definitely “conflicted” – one moment he’s watching multiple dark-skinned gentlemen versus a lone caucasian woman with pangs of guilt, flames of lust and a bottle of lotion…then the next he’s watching the current niche offering of several cleetus-looking yokels in stars-n-bars garb doing the same thing to a black woman with vengeance (and lust and a bottle of lotion) on his mind.
Such thoughts can only be unavoidable when all you think about is race.

It’s like with certain situations in blackjack where you always hit or always stand. With people like this you can pretty confidently bet they’re weird that way, knowing that over time you’ll win more than you’ll lose.
