I don’t really blame you–people feel more when the persons involved have a level of fame. I suppose it’s human nature.

Now, Peanut M&M’s – that’d been worth the bullet taking off the unarmed girl’s earlobe. Really, why on earth she wasn’t allowed to carry her own little gun in her dress, now that’s a reason to remove said child from this woman!

A lot of these people who carry everywhere and all the time are subconsciously looking for someone they need to shoot, and some of them are hoping for someone they can shoot. It’s a death cult.

I used to be afraid of the dark. I grew out of it. Being afraid is not a good reason to let people go around armed to the teeth. It may be one of the worst reasons of all because nervous people are more likely to shoot.
If they are afraid they can go get a security blanket or therapy.

Do these people think we live in Baghdad that they are so damned scared they go around armed all the time? This is not the 3d world and these people have lost their minds entirely.

It was not really an accident, but a crime. It is illegal to carry a gun on the hospital property yet this “good gal with a gun” decided to flaunt the law. Thank God the little girl wasn’t hurt badly but bad on the mother who put the child at danger.
The damage is done, what will become of it is the important part. If this derelict mother gets her gun back and pays no penalty, either in doing time, money or both then things have just gotten worse.
She and her daughter are now part of the statistic that proves that people that carry or even possess guns are more likely to be injured or killed by their own weapon than by whatever it is that they fear.
Truthfully, the gun bozos should buy their toys, load them, take aim and shoot themselves in some place of their own choosing and get it over with because the accident that is coming their way could be lethal.
