Gonna need a bigger basket.

Just in case Donnie might wanna say something
Honestly, this has been the most irritating (and depressing) aspect of this election cycle. The seeming indifference or worse, the deliberate ignoring of it as some kind of a show that isn’t taken seriously. Often by people who won’t be directly affected by it.
I know in elementary school we would have a field day at the end of the school year where the school was broken into different color coded teams, red, blue, green, purple, etc., and compete in different activities like foot races and water balloon passing. It said that the sophomore class’s color was “white” so maybe something like that, some sort of inter-class competition? Maybe a competition over which class could show the most school spirit since it was a homecoming event with each class having its own color?
Could be. That would make sense.
My desire to unfriend those people on Facebook is sometimes almost overwhelming. The one I most loathe is that meme that says “Democratic Party? Republican Party? Wine Party? YES!” Oh, go fuck yourself, you useless twit. Or the ones where someone is basically whining that they’re both so awful. One guy is a raging misogynistic racist, a horrible businessman, a cheat in every way imaginable, and he quite possibly molested his daughter. But, but Clinton’s emails. Like anyone really gives a damn about that.
But only if you want to raise little fascists. You know–like Trump’s children.
Essentially it’s a pep rally, in which the fan base are encouraged to wear school colors (in this instance) to the event.
While irritating, these events are usually innocent
The school in rural Montana (aka West North Dakota) has an event called “Color Wars,” in which the juniors traditionally get “white.” Do I understand that correctly?
How does this not happen every year?
dixieflag on display, clearly celebrating Montana’s herit-- ohwait.
But were those shirts made in China, the way Trump intended?
That may be the apex of their high school achievements.
I see it as “proud redneck”. Same idea. Fuck you and all you PC losers! Trump! Trump! Trump!
Beautiful, if unusually spelled examples of redneck handicraft using non native materials…/s
It’s just really depressing to see this mentality in this age group. How many more generations is it going to take for this insanity to die out? I suppose never, since I seem to recall psych experiments showing that if you take away skin color, then some other form of prejudice pops up to take its place. Always in-groups and out-groups. Why can’t people just see that the human race is the in-group. That’s the one thing that alien contact might accomplish, I suppose, though we’d no doubt be at war with them almost immediately, even if they came in peace (which Hawking doesn’t think likely).
the school district “will not tolerate harassment or discrimination in any form.”
Right, leave these poor victims alone. Haven’t they suffered enough, not being able to have professionally made racist t-shirts?
RACISM at its best.
