âFootlooseâ didnât get loose this time?
How many degrees of separation is this dance studio from Kevin Bacon?
âThis is a small price to pay for freedom.â the Republican party
Time for someone to invent a leotard with a concealed holster. You never know when some perp is going to interrupt your pas de deux.
Good business is where you find it.
Another day in Wayne LaPierreâs America, another libation to feed the NRA Tree of Libertyâs insatiable thirst for the blood of innocents. Feel the Greatness bigly.
Stuffâs getting close to home. I live just a few blocks away from this
Meanwhile, Paul Ryan carry on doing âthe peopleâs business.â
1- NO voting on even minimal gun control measures
2- Try but fail to override Obama veto on their bill to strip a previous requirement that financial advisors tell their clients whether the advisor is putting their own interests of the clientâs first.
3- Passing a bill that provides half the funds urgently needed to combat Zika in the US and paying for it by stripping funds from Ebola programs.
4- Adjourning until after July 4th.
They will return July 5thâŚand adjourn soon thereafter until after election day.
Letâs see. It was, of course, Texas where even dancing could be hazardous.
Perhaps it was that new instructor from Gun Barrel City, Texas (*real city, btw) :
Here, let me show you how itâs done:
Time for your lesson, son!
Another HoHum week of gun deaths in TexasâŚ
I still remember the morning, the Summer before I began 6th grade, and how uniquely horrific it was to read our local newspaper headline and an entire 3 pages on the University of Texas massacre by sniper Charles Whitman, who had first murdered his mother and wife.
My child has grown up in a society where this is a recurring event, thanks to the NRAâs suppression of freedom of policy debate and research.
The irony of âdancingâ around the gun epidemic in America.
Instead of whistling past the graveyard, the new saying should be, Dancing past the shooting range.
Here we go again!!! Guns, guns, gun! This is maddening folks!
Ryan, you are going to have to put your personal beliefs aside and allow our representatives to vote on passing gun control legislation! That is your job, so get off you lazy ass and do it!
Ft Worth is Evangelical territory.
(I usually cut Ft Worth some slack. Cuzâ they hate Dallas too.)

But wait a minute. Until we find out whether the shooter was Muslim we donât know how dead the dead actually are.
Remember that week when there were no mass shootings in the US?
If youâre having trouble, itâs ok because I donât either.
People were murdered. Lives were destroyed.
This shooting occurred about a block the other side of my usual 7-11. Apparently no one at the Fort Worth Star-telegram has gotten up to check it out, but it was (according to the 7-11 Clerk I asked) a shooting in the parking lot of a closed studio that occurred sometime after 1:00 AM. The best recent rumor is that a fight happened there and someone pulled out a gun.
This is an area in which no civilian should have a firearm.
The owner of the studio says it was closed and no one had a contract to be there. But it is in area just about half a mile east of where all the homeless people in Fort Worth are warehoused.
That is, an idiotic policy which has destroyed most of the small businesses in that part of town and filled it with panhandlers. Ive lived in this area for well over a decade and the incompetence of the Fort Worth politicians has destroyed the area.
It was unclear what time the shooting occurred. Segura said homicide detectives were investigating Saturday morning (motive unknown & too early to say why, how, when or what)
⌠But never too early for Trump to say Jihadists responsible because an overwhelming minority of less than one-tenth of 1% of U.S. gun deaths can be traced directly to those people.
Iâm glad to point out that your memories donât match the facts. Update yourself here:
Itâs the Bureau of Justice Statistics.
Start by looking at gun homicides and multiple victims.
