“I’ve answered that many times. He had not talked about that in a very long time,” Conway said.
“So is in favor of or against it?” Heilemann pressed.
“And he has not talked about that in a very long time,” she repeated.
I'm guessing we're soon to be told promises and stated intentions are like milk on the shelf at the grocery. They have a "Use By" date, after which they're considered spoiled and to be discarded.
And this is somehow surprising?
2 days after his big immigration speech, we will still have few specifics.
An illusion. Another fake attempt to appear reasonable. Too little, too late.
Blowing smoke once again.
I think what she meant to say was something like,
"a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing
6 A time to build walls, and time to tear them down
a time to promise the integrity of the land, and a time to withdraw that promise.
…"
I suspect that, if he got elected President, that two years after he took the oath of office we would still have few specifics about anything he wants to do.
At least the Bloomberg interviewer told her she wasn’t answering the question. Should I be an interviewer in this situation, my next question to her would be: "Ms. Conway, do you want us to take you seriously? "
I’m sure whatever Trump will say doesn’t yet exist in his own mind, much less outside of it.
I wish they’d ask her if she knows what’ll he say on any topic ahead of time. Not what it is but just if she knows.
Kellyanne Conway is lost. She is clueless and is lying her way to gainful employment as Donald Trump’s traveling companion and as his rally escort. What a lowlife. Typical conservative. Ignorant, inept, bigoted and sleazy.
Is it just me, or does her nose seem to be getting longer??
Just askin’.
Is Conway related to Ann Coulter, maybe a long lost or ‘separated at birth’ twin brother?
Asked if Trump would provide any specific numbers on topics like the number of Americans killed by undocumented immigrants, Conway said, “He may,” insisting that he will have “facts and figures.”
Sure, he’ll have facts and figures. The facts may not be factual, the figures won’t make sense but he sure as hell will have them. And the lemmings in the media will swallow them without question and spout them like gospel.
Reason he can’t give specifics is probably because he’s still working on getting the copyrights from Jeb and Rubio.
Could be, they’re both pretty stringy and have bleached blond hair. Also, both nuts.
Pfft. Twenty bucks says the only thing new he’ll announce on Wednesday is—drum roll, please—that on taking office he will instantly appoint—a—wait for it—commission! A big, beautiful commission that will make everything perfect. The commission will figure out the very best way to handle whatever—it’ll be looking very, very hard at all these questions. The commission will have the best people on it. Nobody but Donald Trump was ever smart enough to think of this before in the history of the world.
Every appearance on every show by Conway and the motley wreckage of Trump surrogates is based on the same annoying recipe. The answer to any question is always the same: open mouth, start jabbering a non-stop sequence of talking points, veer into bashing Hillary mode, add a dollop of completely ludicrous praise for Trump.
Conway is better at it than Pierson or the other airheads, but still avoids answering any questions. She’s campaign manager, but somehow thinks we’ll be fooled when she pretends to know nothing.
I’m glad Heilemann persisted in trying to get an actual answer to a simple question, but it’s like nailing jello to a wall. They should stop giving her air time because she never has anything of value to say, and never adds any new information except by accident.
Reminds me of a conversation with a very quilty child.
Yes, but not in the sense of hiding something. She just clearly has no idea what Trump will say. Neither does he until just before it comes out of his mouth.
But that’s OK, because Trump will contradict himself within days, if not hours.
When will pundits learn there is no Trump “policy” to learn or analyze. Only sound-bites.
“This is what presidents and leaders do. They put out plans long before they are elected so people can at least go ahead and look at them and say I either like your plan or I don’t,” she said.
"But enough about Hillary Clinton. I'm here to talk about Donald Trump." Kellyanne Conway added.
