Discussion: 10-Year-Old Girl Stumbles Upon Loaded Gun In The Sand At Coney Island

Discussion for article #226280

Well, if we can trace the owner then we can tell them the ‘Gun is OK’…

If it were a car, authorities could look up and registration info and track down the owner in a heartbeat.

Testing, licensing, registration, insurance. Demand it.

Perhaps, since it is on Long Island… “But I didn’t know until this day it was Barzini all along.”

I’m surprised the swat team didn’t come shoot them all dead while trying to turn it in.

If we outlaw guns at the beach, only sharks will have guns!

I hope TPM will do a follow-up story on this gun, see how far back the registration or manufacture number can be traced. If TPM doesn’t do this, the story is just “click bait”, not a real story. But TPM is really all about click bait, most of the time, little if any real reporting, ever!

Stand on your SAND!!!

This story is news? Wow TPM, you really are getting pathetic with your anti-gun nuttiness. You all realize that a gun filled with sand won’t shoot right? It was about as dangerous as a rock.

“…had to be sawed into pieces in order to make it safe to handle.”

Fascist Freedom Hating Islamocommies! That gun could have been saved!

You ammosexuals really don’t get that a) you’re a diminishing minority b) you sound and act increasingly crazy to the majority, which c) makes the majority less and less comfortable with the fact that you want to own lots and lots of guns, do you?

“Ah, the old, one-bullet-in-the-chamber trick!”

You think people who want to own guns are a diminishing minority? You don’t get out of your bubble much do you?

If you’re going to show up three days after a topic is over and accuse someone of “living in a bubble,” you should try to maybe stick your head out of the bubble first.

The reality is that a shrinking percentage want one of the damn things in their house. Which is why the gun industry has to spend vast sums of money keeping gun triablists peeing their pants in fear of crime rates that are at a four decade low, imminent societal collapse that never happens or the imminent zombie apocalypse and if one gun makes you safe, fifty will make you super-safe!
