I already worked our primary. Signup for the general election begins in early September.
Yes, and opportunistic as well – aren’t these the same folks who are endlessly for ‘limited government’ and ‘local control (state’s rights)’ when there’s a Democrat in the White House and a reactionary in the governor’s office?
Like, whatever gives them the greatest power is always, mutably, the best option.
Routed through a Vladivostok exchange?
Since I will be too busy with other things to hope to be FRIST tomorrow morning, here’s my cat pic. Actually, a video, and a NYT share.

CNN reports that, as of now, there is no official investigation directly into Newsom himself:
The SOB can’t even beat Iran why is anybody afraid of him. Oh yes. The press is owned by his billionaire buddies who refuse to tell the truth.
ICE is America’s Rosgvardia, Putin’s super-loyal national guard. The law doesn’t apply and ICE do President Caligula’s bidding.
Trump says Medicare and Medicaid may not survive as war spending takes priority
In last night’s White House speech, President Donald Trump laid out a stark vision for federal priorities, emphasizing military spending while suggesting that major domestic programs like Medicaid and Medicare should no longer be primarily managed at the federal level.
Speaking candidly, Trump framed the issue as one of limited national resources, tying economic pressures to ongoing global conflicts. “The United States can’t take care of daycare… we’re fighting wars,” he said. “We can’t take care of daycare. You’ve got to let a state take care of daycare.”
While the remark initially referenced childcare, Trump quickly expanded the idea to include broader social programs. “Medicaid, Medicare, all these individual things… they can do it on a state basis,” he said. “You can’t do it on a federal [level]. We have to take care of one thing: military protection—we have to guard the country.”
SpaceX is now approaching Amazon’s market cap, so many are wondering what is going on. I think one of the aspects is mining. For example, Australian mining company Hancock Prospecting, which mines iron ore, has taken a stake of more than $1 billion in SpaceX. This is, in fact, an extension of the AI/data center play, which sees He3 mined from the lunar regolith as the future power source for data centers. He3 mining has been a common theme in recent sci-fi movies.
More close to home is the weightless or microgravity metallurgy, capable of creating flawless new materials and their fabrication. This might seem silly at first, as commodity trading involved products that often cost just a few dollars to several thousand dollars a pound to justify international trade. Semiconductors, for example, can go for $50 million a pound, so the transport costs become negligible. If you have a product worth a half billion a kilo, you can even deliver it first class. Spice, an imaginary space-folding drug in the Dune novels, sells for as much as 6,200 Solaris per gram,
One of the features of the California gold rush was that it was the suppliers of tools, equipment and support services that made out. Most prospectors just enjoyed lots of burro time and the changing seasons outdoors. A real future business out in, say, the asteroid belt, will be trading with the people out there trying to make a living. That means lots of local production rather than depending on earth for supplies, even with new forms of propulsion and travel comfort. Hence the current discussion as to whether SpaceX is just a first mover like MySpace or Silicon Graphics, or a first dominator strategy. We see examples of sectoral dominance from time to time (DeBeers in diamonds, Alphabet in Internet). Also in non-market situations, a single player can dominate (Gazprom, for example, enjoyed a couple decade run), but generally dominance is elusive. Moreover, the commercial riches of space are still several years off. That will give every business interested in space time to separate the get-rich quick folks from the people who actually get rich.
The only reason for ICE thugs to be at a polling place would be to intimidate and threaten people.
Because the thug in the White House wants them there.
A far cheaper, low water usage and convenient data source would be public libraries

Continuing his remarks about the US agreement with Iran at the G7 summit, US President Donald Trump claims he “never cared about regime change” as a goal in the US-Israeli campaign against Tehran, while reiterating his belief that the elimination of so many senior officials in the Islamic Republic effectively amounts to regime change.
“You talk about regime change. I never cared about regime change. It [was] never a part. But I guess you have regime change because you know better than anybody, the first group, they’re all dead. The second group, they’re dead. A part of the third group is gone,” he says, referring to echelons of the Iranian leadership.
“And we’re dealing with people that I think are very rational people. They were nice to deal with. They were strong people, smart people. I think actually they’re smarter than the first and second group, but they’re not radicalized and they’re, you know, looking to help their country,” he continues.
I was watching the program in between the games and they showed a celebration in CV where they brought out their goats.
I was so disappointed not to find any footage or photos from that, but the one celebrant was dancing with her goat.
Where do you suppose ICE might show up? Only in major blue cities, that will be ready for them?
They have the info. They’ll stand close enough to overhear people as they check in to get their ballots. And they will compare those names to their list.
What do you suppose will happen next?
Happily.
Where’s our federal tax cuts?
“we have to guard the country”
And we’re gonna soak up every last penny the middle class has to do it.
There won’t be any. The rest of the statement about States taking over things the Feds have been doing is that they need the revenue they’re spending on social programs to protect the country.
No one has ever said what they’re protecting the country from and there’s no accountability of how the revenue is being spent.
Draw your own conclusions.
