DHS IG Refused To Probe Agency’s Actions During Now-Infamous Trump Photo-Op | Talking Points Memo

With the latest stuff about the “QRF” waiting with toys across the river, I really am adjusting my thinking to that the deliberate stand down on the National Guard and that the cops were mostly unarmed at the front lines was due to intelligence that there was exactly something like that in the works, and the folks in the know wanted to avoid a shootout on the Capitol steps that would have been much worse than what did go down.

Interesting!! A new coworker who lives in Chicago uses that spelling and pronunciation. Perhaps a colloquialism.

Perhaps someone can answer just what investigations the IG’s office performed with its 400 investigators that were so much higher priority. Or start the 30-day clock ticking for dismissal.

I’m curious as to whether or not DHS IG targetted publicly vocal political opponents of the President within the Civil Service, thus abusing the Bill of Rights to suck up to Twitler.
