A few years ago members of the Black Hebrew Israelites would frequently hold forth in my Queens neighborhood just off of the 7 train. They would have their offensive posters set up which claimed that they were the “lost tribe” of Israel and spew invective about numerous groups particularly gays. Another prominent poster they had was the Giuliani in drag attire from the Inner Circle dinner. Finally enough people got tired of their offensive performance art and had them removed where they haven’t been around since.
Maybe Bibi tried to get them into his coalition government since he was reaching out to the most fringe parties.

Remember the flap about the high school kids and the Native American on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial? Nathan Phillips, the Native American drummer, was intervening between the kids (who were rendezvousing there after a march) and the Black Israelite group that was harassing them. Basically, he tried to distract them because they were obviously getting riled up by the vile insults being thrown their way. Apparently he succeeded.

Sure isn’t what was said when a Saudi shot up the military base in Pensacola. That was “terror” from the get go. But this? Ooooooh…gotta tread carefully or it might wind up another white nationalism statistic and wind up on the news as such before it’s buried and forgotten…
