He is damn right about that, just ask any of the candidates for the SCOTUS, they all will agree and be more than willing to overturn the previous decision.

I thought that’s already the case. Why they started bringing federal charges against protesters and all that.

Shouldn’t there be a contempt of court citation emerging from all this. . . . against the attorneys?

They are, after all wasting the court’s time and the taxpayers money by continuing to beat this dead horse.

If in that shithole of lawlessness that is Thailand is illegal to criticize the King, why is it that in law-and-order loving America is it allowed to insult and slander His Majesty Donald I.

The real Trump position is delay. His lawyers have no valid arguments; they just need to get past the election. Soon the case will end, but it’ll probably be after November 3.

Keep in mind. Trump will lose. It’ll just occur where indictments can’t impact the vote.

I just want Trump to go to NY state prison when he leaves office, if not sooner. His taxes must hide a plethora of illegality; no innocent person would fight their release.

“it’s is illegal to investigate the president”… Ill bet Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon would love to talk about that.

Of course they’re sticking with that. They think they’re about to change the SCOTUS to get a different ruling on it that overturns the one just given a few months ago.

They will all agree that they cannot speculate on a hypothetical issue that may some day come before the Court. You have to confirm me to a lifetime position where I am among the arbiters of the real truth if you want to know just how corrupt I am.

CJ “Balls & Strikes” is going to be watching the rest of the game from the cheap seats.

Well he’ll have to off a few more won’t he? The decision that they are ignoring was 7-2 with only Thomas and Alito in the minority.

That will the public position. It will be a totally different answer when Trump ask them

“The Supreme Court judgment that presidents are not immune from criminal investigation is fake news. Even if it isn’t, we’re not bound by it because we’re concerned with President Trump (R ). Even if we’re bound, any subpoenas relating to a criminal investigation are intrinsically overbroad, even if one tiny specific piece of paper is requested by investigators.”

Gorsuch and Kavanaugh didn’t want to get caught on the losing side of that one. If Trumps immunity comes around again and there is a chance of winning they will concur .

I’m not a lawyer, so maybe this is somehow a different argument and I don’t get it. It seems to me to be the exact same one they already got crushed on.

“Motive is notoriously difficult to plead,” Consovoy added.

It’s the easiest thing in the world to plead. To wit, “Trump doesn’t want to produce the documents because he knows they will reveal various felonies he has committed.”
