Ah, McCrae Dowless. The ideal Republican standard bearer.

Edited to correct “idea” to ideal. Because we all know Republicans have no ideas.

Are NC voters going to be fooled twice?

OR

Are NC voters going to elect McCrae despite his being a Shameless Election Cheating?

Dowless’s campaign slogan: Vote for the Criminal. It’s Important.

He sounds like the ideal Republican candidate, so what’s the problem?

We have a problem as liberals / progressives / dems in how we still see these issues of law and justice … and unfortunately we are bringing a knife to a gun fight. We still believe in law, justice and criminality.

The Conservative / GOP / Nazi / White Nationalist / Evangelical coalition has given up on that. Being a criminal / violent / cheater to “Own the Libs” is perfectly acceptable … desired in fact.

I don’t see this gentleman’s clear criminality being a detriment to his chances with the modern GOP base.

This scenario is playing out with all GOP elected / electorate across the country. We need to catch up with this reality.

It’s Christian to forgive, in America everyone deserves a second chance…

[Dowless] was also pocketing $14,203 in disability checks and retirement insurance benefits [while he] raked in $132,365.57 from his work as a political operative.

Trump Voter: “Well, if he is so good at feathering his own nest, then he will certainly make us all filthy rich if we put him in charge!”

I’m trying to figure out if Stone and McCrae Dowless would make good cellmate, but then who would Flynn bunk with?

As a member of the jury, I’d “vote” for putting this man in jail.

“We asked these respondents whether more candidates like Trump would influence their likelihood of sticking with the Republican Party. Sixty-percent said they would be “more likely” to stay if the party continues to nominate “candidates like Donald Trump.” But almost 20 percent of Gen Z Republicans say they would be “less likely” and another 20 percent were “unsure” that they would stay. Keep in mind that our survey, and other research, estimates that Republicans already represent less than 30 percent of Gen Z voters. Thus, the risk of losing 40 percent of their young voters by sticking with Trump may not be the best way to build a future party.”

He’s hoping to cash in on looking like Jed Clampett. People love to vote for people they’ve seen on TV. It’s called being authentic.

If by “catch up with this reality” you mean become criminals like Republicans, no thanks.

This illustrates the failure of our criminal justice system. Dowless’ alleged crimes date to 2016 and 2018. There’s almost no doubt about his guilt. It’s now 2020. Why has this man not been tried, convicted, and jailed?
