Formality. It’s headed to SCOTUS for a 5 / 4 fuck em ruling.

When will it be a felony to disenfranchise voters?

They are bought and paid for. Hope Roberts is right proud of his impeachment performance.

The courts are interfering in the election. Trump will have to shut them down.

Please remove “so-called.” The judge basically found it to be a poll tax. No need for hedging at all.

“Basically” is the same hedging!

Anyway, you have more important things to worry about, such as mocking DeSantis without mercy – so I’ll leave you to it!

Florida is a solid example, out of many throughout the country, of where Republicants must suppress the vote or cheat in some other way in order to win.

Guess we’ll just have to wait for Florida’s aging population to naturally " disparate" before unctuous pieces of shit like Di Santis get kicked to the curb…given the built in corruption in the states infrastructure, this could take a while…

Well I may just have to change Wrong DuhSantis’ nickname to Racist Ron. ANyway he is a proud addition to Floriduh’s other two national figures; Senators M.T. Suitio and Sick Rott. How is this state not the perfect place for the Trumpmania convention in August?

Of course he’ll appeal it. Then, if he loses, sometime in late October, he’ll put a state office in charge of evaluating the ex-felons abilities to pay. Maybe someone in the Florida Unemployment office. With a rotary dial phone.

Expect Trump to make the outageous claim that ex-felons using mail in ballots to vote are going to steal the election if DeSantis most likely loses his appeal.

When said voters stop voting for the wrong people…

And the GOP will do all they can to steal FL from Biden. They are desperate to win that state for Trump.

I read that Florida’s record-keeping is so terrible that they wouldn’t be able to figure out who owes what anyway.

Sounds like a feature. You can never pay off a heisenfine.

At some point, doesn’t the GOP have to do some basic math? Biden is leading among seniors in FL, a demo that Trump won by 17 points and without which he would not have defeated HRC there. Biden doesn’t need to win the demo to win the state. He just has to be competitive or relatively better than HRC. Suppressing the votes of ex-felons who have served their time doesn’t fix that problem in FL or any other of the battleground states.

Yep, somehow claiming that these felon owe society X amount of money, but make it hard for the felon to find out how much they owe is just another way to keep them off the voter rolls.
