I heard on MSNOW that Trump team filed his bogus lawsuit in Miami with hope of getting the equally corrupt Judge Cannon. Didn’t work, but would have been fun.

I’m assuming, maybe wrongly, that this trick of just giving the DOJ a fund for “reparations against Democrat actions” will be challenged in court, and eventually make its way to the SCOTUS. So it’s not just automatic and checks aren’t going out tomorrow to the J6 rioters? I haven’t seen anything so far about what those first steps might be.

The only “good” the slush fund will bring is making money available to the victims of these people - child support, civil suits for harm caused on January 6th, etc.
And there’s a strong possibility that trump will change the distribution - giving more money to Giuliani, Bannon, Stone, etc (and himself) and very little if anything to his ‘foot soldiers’.
‘Foot soldiers’ expecting to become instant millionaires won’t be happy… and then what they do get will be taxed.
