Dems Sound Alarm About Scared Americans the Trump Admin Stranded in the Now-Warring Middle East

I suspect not. She seemed to have a list of ludicrous questions and other gobbledygook that she was rushing to get through.

I know where I’d place my bet.

Easy reading and a book everyone needs to read. I am amazed that anyone can get through high school without reading it.

Would high school in the mid-50’s get me an exemption?

Paul Rudd does a really good audiobook version. I had read it before that, but strong audiobooks take things to a whole new level.

I’ve been to Ecuador. Beautiful country. This is BS.

I’m so old, I remember Nixon was going to eliminate drugs.

Who can forget Nancy Reagan’s “Just say no!” (and run like hell")

And all the iterations since.

I’ve read fentanyl is easy to make in your garage with easily obtainable materials

Hasn’t Lutnick been accused of perjury in his statements to Congress during his confirmation hearings?

Is there a Trump policy advisor being kept under wraps, and it’s Jason Mendoza?

The claim is that these attacks were advanced because Ayatollah made the ill-advised decision to have breakfast with 40 or so of his best friends

So the group became a target of opportunity.

Do they think through anything?

They spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to get TRUMP out of the Epstein files… Shows you exactly where their priorities lie. Evacuation flights will likely be provided for those who can prove that they support TRUMP and the WAR.

Trump administration is reportedly assuring state election officials that there won’t be any ICE agents at the polls this fall.

This is likely because TRUMP will have renamed them to EIF, the Election Integrity Force, by then.

we knew that there was going to be an Israeli action, we knew that that would precipitate an attack against American forces, and we knew that if we didn’t preemptively go after them before they launched those attacks, we would suffer higher casualties.

Does Rubio believe that it is our job to provide cover for Israelis? DUH… of course he does, after all he’s TRUMP’s boy.

They were careless people, the Epstein class….

That is backwards to what they are saying. They claim that Iran views Israel as our proxy such that if Israel does anything they will attack the US. Or even if they know better they believe that if they have such a policy we will try to control Israel for them.

Nope. :slightly_smiling_face: I graduated in 1958 from high school.

Iranians are not STUPID. Why on earth would they attack the US, and exactly how would they do that anyway. Israel is right next door and is no where near as formidable an opponent as the US. No one controls Israel, they have gone rogue and Bibi doesn’t care about anything but himself.

Same year here. Small school - there were forty-four in my class, but a fairly well-off town south of Boston. We did have a senior year “Advanced English” course for the college-bound crew. Teacher was a Harvard grad (his father was a noted Egyptologist). We read a wide variety of novels, plays, poetry. I loved it! I think my point in invoking the year was that at the time Fitzgerald’s reputation was at a low point. The good news is that I’ve got a copy of Gatsby on the way from Abe Books

Interesting. You had a great high school experience. I went to a large suburban Illinois HS that during my years there was rated one of the top ten in the country by the Conant (Harvard) report. There were 700 in my class. Entered college as essentially a sophomore. I was so fortunate.

Read it in high school. Re-read it uncounted decades later and it is a much better read than I remembered. Experience may have something to do with that.
