The way to fix the debt ceiling is to tie the republicans pay checks to this. They should not get paid until the debt ceiling law, rule or whatever it is, is killed. Senators and Reps should not be financially exempt from the county’s suffering
This goober behavior around the national debt is beyond any descriptor I can come up with.

Ahh, tis’ one of the mysteries of faith! I remember reading somewhere that the OG Nazis dealt with the issue by saying that Jews deserve to be persecuted because after all, they killed Christ. I really thought they had better reasoning ability than that. If Christ hadn’t been killed, he wouldn’t have been Christ. And, he got better!

You are kidding? That’s the easies thing to do. See the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades, the Pogroms, the Holocaust. In Barcelona in the middle ages, Jews were declared property of the King to prevent mobs killing them for any pretext. Before the foundation of Israel, Jews were treated much better in Muslim lands than in Christendom.

Funny you should mention that, because I saw Jesus on the street just today while I was out walking. Little Jewish guy about five-three. I asked him about all these Christian haters running around hating up a storm, and were they really Christians. He told me labels can be misleading, and said by their fruits ye shall know them. Nothing snarky or sanctimonious about it. He was a pretty cool dude, but there’s only so much he can do.
