Right On!
Thank you America!
Let them eat crow. Or something else.
I know our chances of keeping the House aren’t high, but there’s a bettable chance that we pull it off. Can you imagine the explodey heads that would lead to?
Damn right it counts as a win. I’ve been seeing a few liberal grumblers on various sites complaining that the lack of a red-wave shouldn’t be considered a Democratic win. HORSEHOCKEY, as Col. Potter might have said. This is huge. Just ask Obama if he would’ve liked to have had as many Democratic wins in his first midterm as Biden got. Or Clinton, for that matter.
Yes, it came with some strings attached, but on balance, this was about as good an outcome as one could reasonably expect given all the mitigating circumstances (e.g., a right-leaning MSM)
Have there been any updates to the Georgia actually? It was speculated that there was a remote possibility that Warnock’s total could creep upwards toward the 50 % … and avoid a runoff. Probably only a slim chance.
Knowing there was a chance and realizing it can be worlds apart but thank Bog they were not this time!
It is a weight lifted.
ETA: and a shout-out to those who gave us data-supported hope and energy when MSM groupthink and horserace rhetoric went for the big under; e.g.,
Media got closing intensity story badly wrong.

As @tbonier has noted, Ds checked all the intensity boxes these last few months:
- overperformance in House specials/Kansas
- voter reg spike
- candidates way outraised Rs
- Ds crushing it in early vote 4/https://t.co/YkxVevBZkd
Per Politico:
On a Republican conference call Thursday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), went so far as to suggest fraud in Nevada if Laxalt isn’t declared the winner. The midday call was hosted by Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
“There is no mathematical way Laxalt loses,” Graham said on the call. “If he does, then it’s a lie.”
Once you reject science, math is never far behind.
What a pleasant surprise after drudging around the garage for the last couple of hours.
Lindsey can go fuck himself.
Show your work shithead.
Wait till he suddenly begins drifting far away up in the sky, never to be seen again. If you accept science, you accept gravity exists. Deny it at your own risk. Lindsay will be a cautionary tale one day if not already.
Yeah, keep fapping to that “voter fraud” bullshit, Linsdey, because that’s why your pathetic party is LOSING.
ETA: I don’t doubt this for a second.
I should point out that Pubs are right where they want to be. With ACB and her Catholic Cabal running the country from the safety of SCOTUS and the Pubs able to prevent anything from being done in the Senate they can just snipe from the sidelines and accept no blame for the problems they create.

NY Times: Voters reject election deniers running to take over elections
With Jim Marchant’s defeat by Cisco Aguilar in Nevada’s secretary of state race, all but one of the “America First” slate of candidates who espoused conspiracy theories about the 2020 election were defeated.
It’s a free article so click away.
Let me just post this for old time’s sake:
