It’s a tale of two Rauls.

A Republican launched his campaign on Thursday against Rep. Raul Ruiz (D-CA).

I’m sure that dirty trick’s getting a lot of belly laughs down at the country club.

Too bad for Raul Ruiz ( R ) that his political party is spelled differently than Raul Ruiz (D)

A shame, really.

Republicans get their best candidates from the phone book.

I’m glad we can see the D or R even in our jungle-style primaries, although Riverside can be pretty red.

So Raul Ruiz ( R ) is another man baby who is terrified of women and who doesn’t know what socialism is. Do I have that about right?

From 2018 coverage I gathered everyone thinks the jungle primary is a Bad Idea.

Are y’all changing that for 2020?

People with same name is exact reason why I started to make sure people used my middle name. Those companies that would not I’d tell them fine then you (1) don’t get my business or (2) I deny that the charge is legit.

I started doing this in the late 60’s when I purchased my first home. I knew when it was high school report card time as my phone would ring off the hook. Irate parents because Johnnie or Sally did not receive the grade they thought they deserved. I had parents who did nothing but swear and curse and would not accept that I was not a teacher at the school. Calls to the school did zilch and same with an appearance at a board meeting to bring it to the districts attention that lack of action on their part was irresponsible. Got the teacher, the school and the districts attention when I placed a billboard ad within site of the school along one of the busiest expressways in the town. I simply stated: I ______, w/last 4 of phone number am not _______ the band teacher at the high school and people should stop the calls, curses, etc at report card time.

Sorta OT, but just wanted to remind everyone how important it is to donate a few bucks now and again to your favorite candidates, presidential and other. I just sent Sen. Warren’s campaign some $$ as well as Amy McGrath who is running to take out Moscow Bitch.

Riverside is pretty conservative.

According to his campaign site, the Republican Ruiz is running because Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) “and the radical liberals” are “threatening what makes this country great.”

Then why doesn’t he change his name to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and run in NY?

JFC, the deplorables and their boogey-women. AOC wants to take your guns and your freedom and your flags and make you stop showing your dick to girls and on and on. How would this jackhole know what makes this country great; he’s hanging around with people who are the opposite of plain old good, much less great.

I have a similar problem. It’s not that our names are the same (or even similar), but I look exactly like George Clooney.

I think the jungle primary should have some kind of mechanism that requires at least one candidate from the party whose candidates get 50% of the vote combined, or something similar.

Man, that’s tough. How do you handle the paparazzi?

Is your name not Bruce? That’s going to lead to a bit of confusion.

Ok, so start using middle names or middle initials. Seriously, most voters aren’t going to know the difference until they look at the party. Most voters mark for party anyway.

But this isn’t that big of a deal - just a coincidence.
