Democratic Convention Becomes Rallying Cry For Casting Ballot Amid Voter Suppression | Talking Points Memo

Mail-in voting is the 2020 Democratic National Convention’s fight song.

Throughout this year’s historically virtual ceremony, Democrats have rallied around the cause of mail-in voting amid GOP efforts to restrict it and to withhold funding from the already cash-strapped U.S. Postal Service that will carry ballots in November.

Joe Biden’s speech was great…a great rallying cry for the soul of our nation!

Vote BidenHarris2020!

Tonight confirmed for me that there is already a master plan in place to corral the very best and brightest minds to form a future Biden/Harris administration. Having a panel formed by his former adversaries led into by Buttigieg and leading to Bloomberg was a stroke of brilliance. I loved the Curry household segment!

If you think Trump’s shrieking through an Adderall bender while curled into a fetal position under the bed from Joe’s acceptance speech…just wait’ll he sees the size of Biden’s inauguration crowd.

I thought I just heard that they reported:
MoscowMitch will not be attending the GOP convention because he has travel plans. Did I get that right?

Best response I’ve seen to this notion of him sending troops to monitor polling stations:

Yes, and when Brian Williams reported that on MSNBC, Nicole Wallace just started laughing.

Consider that the states are responsible for all voting. Now, exactly who is BLOTUS IMPOTUS going to send to polling stations? Is he really going to try to send federal agents to meddle in state-run elections? Really? On what grounds? Alleged vote fraud? You can’t do that unless you can first prove to a judge that vote fraud is ongoing, and we all know that the only people that attempt massive vote fraud are Republicans.

Yes, their transition team is going to have to be immense with many exceptional managers. They have so much to do in parallel to undo the mess the Dotard has left us.

I also loved the Currys. Real warmth there.

I think we can be pretty certain that Trumplethinskin will skip town or be in the White House bunker instead of going to Joe’s inauguration.

This story is false.

Michelle Obama is still the First Lady.

I really didn’t care for her when she worked for Dubya, despite my crush. But she’s a hoot, and she really seems to care. Also doesn’t put up with bullshit.

Probable cause would do, but they couldn’t show possible cause if their lives depended on it.

I have not followed her career, though I did vaguely know that she was somehow involved with Republicans in the past. But I did like her reactions that I saw this week. I really liked the rapport from all three ladies behind the desk this week, they were enjoyable to watch together and made a lot of interesting points. (And of course I already knew that Rachel and Joy are fabulous…)

It’s not enough to get me to regularly watch, though. But I’m glad I had the chance this time around.

The crowd I want him to shriek about consists of a mere 12.
