A group of Democratic senators sent the U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors a letter on Monday urging the officials to roll back Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s sweeping procedural changes at the USPS, which have set off a crisis in recent days.
The Board of Govs is composed of sycophantic Babbits enjoying their brief flirtation with power, public looting, and free stamps. Deplorable (just as she promised).
They also have the power to remove him immediately and assign the job, at least temporarily, to someone else. Since DeJoy is clearly engaged in sabotage there is no reason to do anything else frankly. How could you trust him to roll anything back, at least in a manner that did not do further damage?
“I write to request that you promptly address the delays in mail delivery that have occurred following recent operational changes at the United States Postal Service (USPS),” wrote Collins. “I have talked to postal employees and received calls from my constituents in Maine who expressed concern regarding the delays in delivery of critically needed mail, including prescriptions.”
Let me guess: DeJoy is a rich partisan sociopathic Republican Trump-to-the-bitter-end hack, doesn’t give a fuck, and in any event doesn’t want to lose his visiting rights to Mar-a-Lago, so the answer is this: make me.
