You knew the GOP and particularly Trump would have to spin this as an anti-Conservative agenda arrest. It hulls the GOP politicized DOJ below the waterline. Still does, Cuellar may not have been %100 behind every Democratic issue, but he was at least a reliable vote for Speaker and other issues. Additionally this is could be spun as “Anti-latin prosecution” so the GOP has to work hard to pretend this isn’t what it is, a solid prosecution, to protect Trump.

In fact, I think orange guy should go all out with money-laundering and bribe-accepting folks. The cabinet can consist of James Traficant, William Jefferson, George Santos, Duke Cunningham, Robert Menendez, and – because orange guy can’t tell the difference between fact and fiction – the late Sen. Pat Geary of Nevada (even though he received “nothing” from the Corleone clan).
