I don’t think it’s hyperpartisanship, it’s a worldview about power relations. They mostly treat conservative women the same way regarding sexual assault unless the assailant was black or brown, or the victim was “their woman”. If the assault doesn’t provide an opportunity for them to demonstrate power over a man they view as beneath them, then it wasn’t a “real” assault and they instead demonstrate their power over the woman.

Mean, selfish, gross, ignorant, un-empathetic, psuedo-macho.
I like football, when the defense is blasting the offense with good hard tackles, when the Steelers and Ravens were battling it out for the division, and man, they played HARD, those were great games, no cheap shots mostly, just good tackle football. But I don’t buy any of that garbage these assholes are spewing.
When these so-called influencers can start speaking with knowledge and understanding and then, maybe, some compassion, then maybe I’ll look at them with something other then contempt, disgust, and revulsion.

Jane Doe was given what she was told was ketamine. Who the hell knows what the frat rapists were actually giving her.
It is one thing to to think that you have been. taking part in an orgy which got out of hand and another to find out that you have been offered like piece of meat to strangers by a lying frat rapist who was pretending to be your friend.

Does no one mention that a head injury influenced her judgment? Besides the trauma of the rape, any blow that knocks someone out is damaging. That’s an important detail that should have been included.

My prayer is that these MAGA “influencers” (e.g., shitheads with a microphone and no guts) sometimes have direct experiential knowledge of what sexual assault actually does to its targets. And that they don’t like it.
