Delaware state senate candidate Sarah McBride, the national press secretary for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), won her Democratic primary race on Tuesday night, setting her up to be the first openly transgender person to become a state senator.

I’m so happy for her. I’m sure she will present herself well and break down attitudes about transgendered people. Once she is in office, hopefully she will be heard.

It’s time we all excepted each other regardless of what we are born with. Life is short.

I’m confused. What’s the little D next to their names? According to former Ambassador to Germany and Acting Director of National Security Richard Grenell, “President Trump is the most pro-gay president in American history. I can prove it.” That being the case, why aren’t there more Rs among the trans elected officials? I’m confused.

Just like I’m confused by why all Blacks aren’t voting for “The least racist person in the world” who has “done more for Blacks than anyone since Lincoln”?
