Secretary of Defense Mark Esper told reporters on Monday that President Donald Trump had personally ordered him to ensure that Eddie Gallagher, who was accused of murdering an ISIS fighter and shooting at civilians, to remain in the Navy SEALs.

I didn’t know serial killer showman was a formal Republican constituency.

Not at all unexpected, criminals gotta watch each others backs.

If Drumpf is ever tried for his crimes in the SDNY, it’s entirely believable that he’ll flee the country. His grotesque willingness to give the middle finger to the rule of law (and the decisions of a jury) proves that his utter disdain for any rule/law that might nail him is a rule/law worth evading by fleeing to a sympathetic country…oh, I don’t know…maybe Russia.

Trump will probably ask for him to be transferred to work as his personal bodyguard.

Is this the Seal who threatened to kill any of his fellow Seals who testified against him?
Seems consistent to the extremes Trump would go to to save his own neck.

Don’t see how Trump can’t be effected by this, but Barr is his secret no-stick ingredient.

If only this all ended that way!

Encouraging our soldiers to commit war crimes should be an impeachable offense, but Trump will get away with it because Republicans think it’s just fine to murder people who stand against them. Today, it’s terrorists, tomorrow we’ll see who they choose.

Defense Sec. Esper is an interesting case. He is reporting everything that happens, but doing so from his perch on the fence. I don’t imagine he has much choice for now, but it the Current Occupant keeps coming after the military, I wonder if he would be honorable enough to say “Not on my watch, sir.” and resign his post?

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, please note. This is how you run an expansive, large bureaucracy. This is how the Trump Organization came to be…checks notes…accused of multiple felonies not charged only because the owner is using his current Office as a shield. But make no mistake, guilty as can be.

In times of war and unrest, this is the type of strong, decisive, morally driven leadership we need. I say unto you, bask in the glory of this “chosen one”.

My sincere hope and wish is that the next President and his DoD Secretaries have the backbone and strength of character to remove the Trident pin from this war criminal. (Haven’t a clue of the legalities.) If it means calling him back to active duty in order to make this happen, so be it. (I know they can do this with officers for a finite period of time.)

Justice, even if delayed and partial, must be done!

Listening to a radio talk show today about this subject a military mom who’s son is in the special forces called in to explain Trump considers a lot of the low ranking enlisted people his supporters. This is a way of keeping their loyalty. By letting them know their crimes and indiscretions will be forgiven.

In other words Trump is using military policy for political reasons. She was socked and horrified by his actions.

Trump couldn’t care less about or know the difference between the Trident Pin or for that matter the one wielded by Charlie Tuna.

Trump has gone through so many administration, staff, and cabinet members that he is left with the dregs and apologists with no backbone.

Wait, who’s Roger?

So many guilty parties added to the Dumpiverse in the last week that I can’t keep up.

Throw it on the (Impeachment) pile. That’s a High Crime.
