The DOD Transition Task Force

Letter is unsigned but it was issued by Jen Stewart, former Republican House staffer – now the Defense Secretary’s chief of staff and head of the Pentagon’s transition team.

Hope the intentional destruction of our Defense Department did not go too deep and there is evidence of Trump turning over secrets to Putin.

Wow… this sounds like an urgent request for the transition team to get over here ASAP!!!
(NOW! … before we get forced to do any more stupid stuff …)
… bring a chopper we have the most critical files and key people on the roof waiting for rescue…

The Department of Defense has become a bloated center of featherbedding. I would be worried that it is incapable of carrying out any mission other than spending money unnecessarily. The department needs a completely fresh look.

Imagine an incoming president who knows what he’s doing, is informed in geography, world politics, economics and has nearly 50 years of government experience.

Imagine the others in government having a president who understands what they’re talking about. Who doesn’t need picture-aides. Who READS. Who doesn’t need briefings mentioning his name every paragraph to keep him reading.

Imagine a president who listens. Who has wisdom. Compassion. And yet has an inner strength that matches or exceeds that of president Obama.

That presidency begins right now. It is a relief, and an inspiration.

It ain’t over until the fat man tweets his victimhood. So, I guess it’s over, then.

The War Department actually welcoming a “Democrat” president? Is that a flock of pigs winging overhead? Is the temperature dropping down in hell?

Or maybe Trump was exploring more overt ways to blackmail the Ukrainian leader, and the evidence is on a secure server that he tried -but failed- to get access to.

No, that’s just El Nino. It’s supposed to be pretty strong this year.

Sometimes I wonder how many staffers are going to break down crying for new reasons once Biden and his people are in real time communication. Anyone else see that?

Dr Robert Reich reported something like that when he assumed leadership of the Department of Labor, after 12 long years of Republican (mis)rule.

Biden can’t do it all – he and everyone around him know that. So at the core of it all will be Biden’s team of competent people that believe in supporting and protecting the citizens of our country.

Compared to über-narcissist tRUmp and his morass of unqualified, grifting, neo-Nazi asshats, it will be like a clear sunrise after a hurricane.

The Trump regime is wreaking havoc at the Defense Dept on its way out. The career officials there who welcome the transition can, one hopes, find ways to document all of the treasonous actions to prepare the way for massive prosecutions.

How many Acting heads has this department had? And…hopefully the dedicated career staffers kept the real Intelligence…Surely there are two sets:

The real-deal and that which was given to Trump to assuage his sensibilities and fragile ego.

Well, they pulled out of a treaty today to share surveillance footage of Russia with Europe. And to make sure Joe can’t jump back in, they’re dismantling the planes we use for the missions.

How gracious of the DOD. They’re agree to start working immediately with the man that is soon to be their boss. As if they had a choice. Biden should cut the vaunted Military’s budget in half and allow them to still waste the other 50%.

I wonder how many “Deep Throats” have been meeting with Biden folks.

I imagine the career professionals all over the government - at Defense, State, Justice, CDC, NIH, the intelligence agencies, etc.- are thrilled that the Trumpian partisan incompetent corrupt hacks will soon be gone.

And hopefully they can slow-walk any last-minute atrocities being planned.
