I don’t know a single lawyer who read that whole indictment and didn’t think it as substantial yet as stinky as a fart.

Granted, I don’t know any wingnut lawyers anymore.

The prosecution is the punishment.

McQuade added that Baker’s conflicting accounts cast doubt on how useful he might be on the witness stand at Sussman’s trial.

“You have to prove that he made a false statement — I don’t know that he can prove [Sussman] made any statement,” she added.

The only remaining question is how long Garland is going to let Durham waste DOJ time and resources on fatally flawed prosecutions.

Was a grand jury ever involved in this indictment?

Or maybe just the indictment. I mean, that’s all those people over in Wingnutville have so far heard about this case . . .they may even have forgotten about that, even.

I don’t remember what he said, but whatever it was, it wasn’t true. So therefore … LOCK HIM UP!

Is this is all about whether a biased friend of the court gave the court incriminating information against another person and did not disclose the previous bias? Sounds like the very description of John Durham.

OT, but I’m guessing the internal polling is starting to scare the crap out of the GQP, and their role as the America-hating obstructionist party, as they completely and willfully misrepresent what the debt ceiling really means.

Yes, but the defendant (sensibly) was not present to point out how flimsy and contradictory the one shred of evidence is.

They are not separate.

If what is alleged in this filing is correct, will Durham check it out and stop this action? Maybe, if this is all news to him.

I forgot how one sided grand juries are.

The proverbial ham sandwich. Which really points out how bad the case against McCabe was since the grand jury noped out on the indictment.

I believe that Garland was letting Durham hoist himself on his own petard. And Barr instructed Durham to investigate the investigators of the Russian-Trump scandal. At the time, and still now I think it’s appropriate to see how big of wedgie can Durham inflict on himself.

I haven’t seen cracks this deep since Bill Barr sneezed so hard his panniculus became airborne.

John Henry Durham - strident conservative Republican - 71 years old

  • relentless pursuer of a preconceived outcome

It’s looking less and less likely that this will go to trial.

Nobody will be surprised that Marcy Wheeler is all over this (has been for weeks, actually) like a cheap suit. F’rexample
