Reptiles squirm. So does DeSantis. That pic makes it look like he is grasping for a life line.
DeFascist is so genuine.
So much charisma.
This is all great theater but, unfortunately, I think that virtually all Republicans and right leaning independents stopped watching debates years ago. I strongly suspect that debates no longer have any impact whatsoever on election results. If the Republican candidate were to drop his pants and pee all over the moderator it would be in the headlines of every major news outlet the next day, yet I doubt it would have any effect on the polls even a week later.
“So we had the border that was in much better shape—” the Republican governor began before the audience started laughing “—in January of 2021. The Biden administration reversed almost every policy that was in place, and they opened the floodgates.”
Trolls gonna troll.
I’m assuming DeSatan learned to do comments like this one during his internship at Prigozhin’s IRA in St. Petersburg.
It’s heartening that Crist didn’t take the bait.
Am I the only one who noticed DeathSantis nervous head twitching throughout the night. He has these small double head jerks when he feels the pressure…I wasn’t expecting much from Christ…but he far exceeded my expectations. The best Dem debate showing since Tim Ryan. I just wish ONE DEM would slam them back with the figures about oil drilling…11.28 million bpd in 2020, Trump’s last year of Presidency. 11.85 million in 2022 And next year, 2023 the industry is predicting RECORD OIL PRODUCTION, THE HIGHEST IN HISTORY 12.4 mbpd. I guess he couldn’t bring it up in a Florida debate but its Rubio and Scott who have been pushing a permanent ban on oil drilling in the Gulf. I know we want renewables, but we do need a bridge energy source to get there…and those are the facts.
So much miasma, too.
Let’s be fair. I think virtually all Democrats and left-leaning independents stopped watching general-election debates years ago, too.
I’ve never watched one this century, and maybe ever. Why would I? What information could it provide that would sway me?
Funny how we didn’t have a “border problem” until Biden took office. Clearly, there were zero immigrants entering the country from 2017 to 2021. Now, can I interest you in some prime beachfront property just outside Kansas City? Or would you rather buy a bridge?
You misspelled “shit.”
It’s far more efficient to watch the highlights reel the next morning with color commentary.
I think you are wrong, Republicans would definitely watch their candidate pee on the moderator.
And it would solidify their vote and positively motivate them to go to the polls for their candidate.
Something about the eyes of these people, I think of Born-again Baldwin as the greatest example, where it’s like they are not even looking out of them. They are looking at a fantasy in their heads, and the rest of us are just background.
When I see eyes like that I move along, whether at the bus stop, supermarket, wherever. These people have constructed a reality in their heads and they wear it like sunglasses.
DeSantis is a straight-up sociopath.
I see the untitled comment pages have returned in full force.
“Olympic level back flip”…
(((Major snicker)))
Moderator @yoopertj has been manually and kindly correcting them for us until the coding problem is resolved.
He’s probably unavailable this morning.
Doesn’t he realize that nothing is more important than we are??
Judge not, least you be judged yourself.
I think it is discobot’s doing. After all it has posted that it is "founder & editor-in-chief as well as executive editor. Surprising that it has not yet claimed total ownership of TPM as well as all property of all of us who have paid accounts.
…positively motivate them to go to the polls, AR15’s in hand, and make sure the vote is “fair”.
